Clark County has issued its Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the 10-year update to the regional comprehensive growth management plan, marking the completion of the state-mandated environmental review process.
According to reporting by The Reflector, the document evaluates the potential environmental consequences of proposed development through 2045 and suggests mitigation measures. The review covers the county and seven specific jurisdictions:
- Battle Ground
- Camas
- La Center
- Ridgefield
- Washougal
- Woodland
- Yacolt
The release of the FEIS on July 24, 2026, satisfies requirements under the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) and the Growth Management Act. This long-range planning effort will dictate how the region handles housing, infrastructure, and land use over the next decade. While the environmental review is now complete, there will not be a standalone public hearing for the FEIS.
