Initial returns from the February 10 special election in Clark County indicate that the Battle Ground Public Schools’ replacement educational programs and operations levy is currently failing to garner the required majority, while the Hockinson School District’s School Programs & Operations (SP&O) levy is passing comfortably.

Battle Ground Public Schools’ Proposition No. 10—designed to replace an expiring levy and help fund essential services such as teachers, safety, mental health support, special education, technology, and custodial services—has not secured the necessary majority in early counts, according to reporting by The Reflector.

In contrast, early returns suggest that Hockinson School District’s Proposition No. 11, the renewal SP&O levy, is passing at approximately 56%, based on an official message from the district shared on February 11.
