The Hockinson School District in Clark County is seeking a new board member following the resignation of Director Gordon Smith, who had served on the board since 2017. The vacancy is for the Director District No. 5 seat, which represents a specific geographic portion of the district.
According to reporting by The Columbian, Smith stepped down from the post in late July. The district has outlined a timeline to fill the position by late September, according to reporting by The Reflector.
