The City of Longview has temporarily closed the alley behind 28th Avenue in the St. Helens neighborhood for maintenance. According to Classic Hits 100.7 KLOG, crews are replacing concrete alley panels behind 651 28th Avenue, near the intersection with Colorado Street.

The closure began today and is expected to continue through next Monday at approximately 4 p.m., weather permitting. During this period, residents and drivers in the surrounding blocks may experience limited access or detours while work crews complete the repairs.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and to follow any posted detour signage until the work is completed.
